Hemiptera - The True Bugs (cont.)

The front wing (hemielytra) are subject to considerable variation within groups of true bugs. The thickened basal part of the hemielytron consists of two sections, the corium and the clavus. The thin apical (at the end) part of the hemielyton is the membrane. The form of the corium and clavus and the venation of the membrance are often useful to separate families.
In review, when submitting Hemiptera for further identification, include digital images that convey the number of segments of the antennae and beak, form of legs and shape and form of the hemielytron. General characters as size, shape, and color are also helpful
