male and female spotted wing drosophila (Drosophila suzukii)
08/28/2009
This drosophila has recently been found in WWA fruit (strawberries, raspberries, loganberries, blueberries, and cherries). Considered very problematic as the fly can infest healthy fruit. Male flies have a black spot on each wing. Females lack spots.
